The Pull Up With Scoop B Premieres Monday May 18: Kendall Gill Pulls No Punches in the Series Opener

The journey has been real, but the destination is finally here.

On Monday, May 18, we’re officially shifting gears. My new series, The Pull Up With Scoop B, isn’t just another talk show—it’s a visual expansion of everything we’ve built together. This is the heartbeat of my media ecosystem, and I’m taking it back to where the passion first ignited: Chicago.

To bring this vision to life, I’ve assembled a powerhouse team at CastleLight Productions (Ryan Cassell, Charlie Murphy, and Bragard Kizenga) alongside Briahna Gatlin of Swank Publishing.

We aren’t just making content; we’re making history.

Episode 1: Kendall Gill Keeps It 100

For our series premiere, I’m sitting down with a true legend, Kendall Gill. We’re covering it all: his dominant days at the University of Illinois, being drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, and his time with the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat.

We even take a trip down memory lane to our time with the New Jersey Nets, where Kendall and I first met back during my childhood reporting days. We talk Michael Jordan, his cameo on the classic Nickelodeon show My Brother and Me, and almost playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Truth on George Karl

Kendall has never been one to shy away from the truth, especially when it comes to his time in Seattle playing for Hall of Famer George Karl. If you thought time healed those wounds, think again. Kendall stayed candid:

“My time in Seattle? Bittersweet. I did not get along with George Karl. But I loved my teammates; I loved playing with them. We won 63 games. We had a whip. Okay? I thought we were going to win the NBA Championship the first year that I was there. But, unfortunately we got beat by Denver and the next year we played the LA Lakers in the Playoffs and got eliminated. My time with George Karl was bad, we all know now from the stories about George Karl what type of dude he is. I’m not going to hold my tongue about him, I don’t like the guy even still to this day.”

Join the Movement

The countdown is on. This is more than just a show; it’s a movement, and I want you there from day one.

Don’t miss the premiere on Monday, May 18.

Let’s get to work.
